Welcome to Offquest. By downloading, installing, or using the Offquest mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Offquest, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
Offquest is a gamified personal growth application that provides daily quests, challenges, and activities designed to encourage real-world engagement. The App uses AI-powered verification, GPS tracking, HealthKit integration, and other methods to verify quest completion.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Offquest offers a free tier and a paid "Elite" subscription. Elite subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
- Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with notice.
5. User Content
You may submit text reflections, photos, and other content ("User Content") as part of quest verification. You retain ownership of your User Content but grant Offquest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze it for the purpose of providing and improving the service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Submit false or misleading verification data.
- Attempt to manipulate XP, streaks, leaderboards, or achievements through fraudulent means.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
- Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App.
7. AI Verification
Offquest uses artificial intelligence to verify quest completions. AI verification is provided on a best-effort basis and may not always be accurate. Offquest reserves the right to adjust XP, revoke quest completions, or take other action if verification fraud is detected.
8. Health and Safety
Quests are suggestions and are not medical, fitness, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for your safety when completing quests. If a quest involves physical activity, consult a healthcare professional if you have any health concerns. Offquest is not liable for any injury or harm resulting from quest participation.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding in Offquest are owned by Offquest and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Offquest is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Offquest and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email.
